UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. • New Service line with opportunity to leave your mark in orthopedic care in Sioux City
• 2 Campus hospital with level 3 Trauma status
• 184 bed Hospital- 18 bed open ICU hospitalist team and intensivists
• 464 bed downtown campus with closed ICU
• Clinic located on ambulatory campus which also has a Multi-specialty located on campus with buy-in opportunity
• Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists
• Excellent OR access with experienced staff
• Onsite Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CT
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• General Orthopedics & Trauma with opportunity to build in sub-specialty interests
• 10 days of hospital call per month-inpatient, consultation, and trauma-no clinic
• Clinic M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM located in ASC 
• Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Physicians

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
