UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join our ENT Clinic in Fort Dodge, Iowa

UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

• Established full-scope practice with ENT Physician support, serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Full-time, benefit eligible position (0.8 FTE), including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• Provide medical treatment and management of patients with disease and disorders of the ear, nose, and throat
• Diagnose and treat allergies, sinusitis, smell disorders, polyps, and nasal obstruction due to deviated septum
• Average of 20-25 patients per day
• 8 FTE = 29 patient contact hours
  • 8-4:30pm Monday – Wednesday
  • Off on Thursdays
  • 8-12pm Friday
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Outpatient practice caring for a diverse population of all ages
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
