This position will float within our Cedar Rapids region primary care clinics; FM and Internal Medicine; The position will allow for us to have coverage and patient access during vacations, illnesses, and leaves. 

• Position to float to FM/IM clinics in the Cedar Rapids region.  Including rural health markets, Clarence, Tipton,Mt. Vernon, Belle Plaine, Vinton and Anamosa, as needed.
• Coverage for medical leaves, and in clinics with patient access retraints

• Full-Time position; 36 Patient contact hours weekly
• Exercises independent judgements in the assessment, coordination, management and evaluation of certain medical processes and procedures, under the guidelines of the scope of practice and medical protocols. 
• Coordinating care of patients with other specialties
• Specialty Skills: minor procedures (i.e.: skin excisions, joint injections, lacerations)
• No inpatient call coverage - Hospitalist Program is fully utilized

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Must have current license, due to credentialing timeframe
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
