UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Colorectal Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team!

UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.

• M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm, rotating call
• Join a growing team of physicians and APPs
• Practice in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • See emergency cases in the ER and provide pre-surgery work up and a warm hand-off to the OR
  • Opportunity to scrub-in and assist in the OR
  • See non-urgent cases and provide care (post-op, wound care etc.)
    
• Assist surgeons as they perform high level procedures
• Rotate through hospitals and clinics around the Des Moines metro

• Physician Assistant (Board Certified)
• Prior surgical experience required
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
