John Stoddard Cancer Center, a service of UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, is among the top achieving cancer programs in the nation and has been recognized for its quality cancer care. We have been a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program for over 45 years. • On-site chemotherapy infusion center
• Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research

• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community

• Practice in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Opportunity to scrub-in and assist in the OR
• Perform high level procedures within scope
• Rotate through hospitals and clinics around the Des Moines metro
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Surgical experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
