Waukee Medical Park is located at the southeast corner of Grand Prairie Parkway and Southeast Tallgrass Lane in Waukee. This facility is designed to provide patients with a variety of medical services under one roof, bringing all-encompassing care to Waukee and surrounding communities. Waukee Medical Park is home to several UnityPoint health services, all in on location

• Join UnityPoint Clinic’s growing Breast Surgery program in collaboration with John Stoddard Cancer Center.
• Waukee Medical Park multispecialty setting and access to complementary services, including plastic surgery, colorectal surgery, OB/GYN, family medicine, endocrinology, pulmonology, cardiology, palliative care, and Iowa Radiology

• Participating in established multidisciplinary tumor boards in collaboration with John Stoddard Cancer Center
• Provide comprehensive breast surgery care, including treatment for benign and malignant breast disease, breast cancer surgery, prophylactic mastectomy, high-risk patients, and coordination with plastic surgery for reconstruction.
• Work closely with breast imaging/radiology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, nurse navigation, and other cancer center resources.
• Opportunity to teach in well-established ACGME residency programs and support medical student education in a learner-rich environment.
• Clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:30p, with clinic and OR days finalized based on block availability and program needs.
• Chemotherapy infusion center available through collaboration with John Stoddard Cancer Center
• Collaborative work environment with work-life balance
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified Breast Surgery
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
