UnityPoint Health – Sioux City delivers a broad range of advanced healthcare services to residents across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Through our two hospitals, UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s and UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s – Downtown, as well as the June E. Nylen Cancer Center, we provide comprehensive, compassionate care close to home. Additionally, UnityPoint Health PACE Senior Care – Siouxland supports older adults with coordinated access to healthcare and social services, including rehabilitation, medication management, transportation and more.

• Provide overnight PRN coverage in a collaborative ICU setting
• Work 12-hour night shifts: 7p-7a
• Flexible PRN schedule with an ideal commitment of 7 shifts per month
• Primarily practice at the Downtown Campus, but also provide coverage at North Campus as needed
• Manage an average patient census of 7-8 patients per 12 hour shift
• Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• 2-year minimum experience as a critical care provider
• ATLS and ACLS required
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
